We are licensed for 28 children per day. Since we offer a full time as well as a part-time program we enroll over 28 families per year.
We charge additional fees other than tuition each month. It’s for their monthly activities, materials, and cleaning fee. However, there are minor fees associated with late pick-up and late payment. In addition, there is a yearly activities fee that is charged every September for each family for the entire school year that covers extracurricular activities.
Yes, Morning Glory is open all year. If your child will be absent for a month or longer, the full monthly tuition is still required.
Yes, we offer a 10% discount on the second child’s tuition when more than one child from the same family are attending at the same time.

At Morning Glory we have two classrooms; the Junior (2-1/2-4 years of age group) and the Senior (4 to 5 years of age, Pre-K to K). Each classroom has a maximum of 15 children per day supervised by 2 qualified teachers.
We do not require a parent to volunteer on a regular scheduled basis but we believe in the importance of parent’s involvement in the child’s life at school.
According to California Licensing requirements full day preschools must schedule a daily rest-time. Some children need to sleep longer and some children do not nap at all. We accommodate both needs. The child who does not nap is asked to remain on his/her mat until wake-up time and allowed to read a book when the rest of the children are asleep.
We provide each child with a cot, and the parents bring a sheet and blanket to be brought home and washed at least once a month. A child may also bring a cuddly toy and/or a pillow to rest more comfortably.
Children bring their own lunch. We serve a nutritious snack in the morning and afternoon. Please keep lunch healthy and natural. Good nutrition is part of our curriculum and important for the success of a child’s day. A list of lunch ideas is available in the office. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special dietary needs.
We enjoy celebrating your child’s birthday. You are welcome to bring a treat to share with your child’s group. Your child’s teacher is available to coordinate the details with you.
If your child should become ill while at school, you will be notified immediately. Please keep your child at home for at least 48hours after the onset of cold symptoms and 24hours after the end of a fever.
The time a child takes to settle into the group and become accustomed to being left by parents varies enormously. We are here to help you and your child to make the transition as painless as possible therefore we suggest that you speak with us about your child’s needs in order to find the best way to handle the emotions and distress of the first days of school.
